Worio collects personal information for the sole purpose of delivering and improving our services for users. With that goal in mind, we may from time-to-time collect usage and other personal information. This information will not be shared with any third parties. Additionally, our employees will not be able to associate your usage information with your username or real name (except to the extent that it is publicly posted on the web site itself).
Because personalization is a central aspect of Worio, the use of your personal information to deliver and improve personalization is a fundamental part of how we use your personal information. Additionally, Worio enables you to share data with other users, including the sharing of recommendations, tagging, your social graph, photos and other information to deliver and improve the site and services for you and other users.
We will from time-to-time communicate to you via e-mail for the purpose of giving you updates regarding Worio's site and services, as well as other information that may be relevant to your use of Worio, including updates of activities by other users. You may opt-out of these e-mails through a link provided within the body of the e-mail or by e-mailing us a request to take you off the e-mail list. We will never provide your e-mail address to a third party without your explicit permission.
We are developing more privacy features and should have a greater number of options available in the next few months. For now, please keep in mind that your recommendations and tagging activity are public and that your real name (if you enter it) is displayed to your friends and those that are connected to your friends as friends. So don't recommend or tag web pages or other content that you do not want displayed to others.
We reserve the right to modify all or some of the Privacy Policy at any time. However, we will use information only in accordance with the Privacy Policy under which the information was collected unless we have received explicit permission from you otherwise.
